A lot of the details being covered about the iPhone on Verizon are pretty boring in my opinion. Typical over-coverage of Apple news. The INTERESTING thing I think will be we can finally see how iPhone REALLY stacks up against Android. There has been much hoohaw over Android device growth and market share overtaking or not overtaking iPhone growth and market share in the US in the last few months. Clearly a large part of the Android market is simply the vacuum created by the iPhone not being available on the Verizon network and Verizon customers simply buying whatever the best smartphone on Verizon is available. With the iPhone being available to another 90 million (obviously only a certain percent of those customers are in the market for a iPhone/smartphone) people we will surely see cannibalization of Android/RIM on the Verizon network.

I’ll be very interested to see the smartphone breakdown numbers on Verizons network after the iPhone has been available for a quarter or two.

Trying to open a coconut is tricky business. It does NOT want to be opened. Great article here on how to (relatively) safely open the coconut. http://healthcorrelator.blogspot.com/search/label/coconut

If you laugh at this more than 3 times, you might be a procrastinator. The fact the voice over is not in English and has subtitles only seems to add to sense that it’s coming from your own head. Click on this link now, do not wait until tomorrow or until you’ve gone through your [...]

We keep hearing about all these great iPad killers. Wow. With iPad killers like these Apple can just sit on the iPad 2 a little longer. What exactly will I be doing with this tablet? Alarm bugs (yes, alarm bugs…really? Is it that hard to program an alarm clock Apple?) continue to plague the iPhone. http://arstechnica.com/apple/news/2011/01/week-in-apple-another-ios-alarm-bug-mac-app-store-launch.ars My only question is, how long can we milk this excuse with bosses and friends?

Crossfit as meditation. Mainly because you’re working so freak’in hard your mind simply can’t think of anything else other than getting…through…this…rep. No past, no future. Just…this…most…excruciating…present…moment. http://bodyandfuel.com/blog/2010/08/27/just-dont-do-the-math/

I don’t go to church any more or follow any dogma (listen to everyone but  follow no one) but dammit I LOVE Ryan Hall’s attitude. Don’t be scared off by the his Jesus-Love.  If you don’t like it when he says God or Jesus, just replace that in your mind with “the force”, “Gandalf”, “Gaia” [...]
